One of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025 runs on Czech software

American hardware, Czech software, global success. TIME magazine has included Evenflo and its innovative SensorySoothe product in its list of the Best Inventions of 2025.

Among the top inventions, TIME selected the Evenflo Revolve180 LiteMax NXT car seat, which uses a special SensorySoothe handle to play sounds and lights for children. Parents can customize what it plays through an app — developed by us.

The loudest project in Cookielab’s history

While developing the software solution for SensorySoothe, we worked closely with the U.S. hardware team, fine-tuning the app’s behavior and Bluetooth communication while the hardware was still in development. The technology was later unveiled at CES 2025.

Testing SensorySoothe was by far the loudest project in our history — our offices were constantly filled with the sounds of waterfalls and various notifications. The success Evenflo has now achieved by being featured among TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025 is a huge reward. And we’re proud to say that such a renowned product runs on Czech software.

“Working with Evenflo was an ideal mix of technical challenge and meaningful purpose for us. Developing an app that helps parents care for their children’s safety motivated us to dig deep. From the very first test of the LED board to the CES 2025 launch, we tackled hundreds of details — all with one goal: to deliver a product that’s intuitive, safe, and reliable for everyday use,” says Martin Homolka, Co-Founder of Cookielab.
